Channel your kids’ energy into the arts this summer! The SummerArts program offers a series of multi–disciplinary workshops for children entering grades 3-9. Children participate in four one-hour workshops a day led by an artist(s) with expertise in a particular discipline. Workshops for older children are more intensive and provide an opportunity for more sophisticated exploration and execution. With a diverse array of artistic disciplines on offer, kids don’t have to choose and enjoy maximum creative expression.
On the last day of camp, kids get a chance to show off! Family and friends are invited to visit and view a presentation of their work. Participation in the full four-week program is encouraged.

Camp Information
We are closely monitoring developments with COVID 19 and have established social-distance and sanitization protocols in accordance with NYS guidelines for SummerArts. We will make use of outdoor spaces as much as possible and require mask wearing by all. There will be sanitation stations throughout the facility and staff will clean all shared spaces multiple times during the day.
ENROLLMENT:
We will have 4 “pods” each week with 10 children in each pod grouped by age. We will have a staggered drop off and pick up schedule. Each group will have a dedicated indoor and outdoor space. Teachers will move from pod to pod to further minimize cross over.

Week 4: August 23 – 27

9:00 – 3:00 Monday – Friday
FOOD:
Your child should bring lunch, snacks and 2 water bottles; no snacks or water will be provided by RiverArts

Partial scholarships are available to those in need. The application deadline is June 1, 2020 and is part of the Registration Form.
Funding for scholarships is provided, in part, through the RiverArts Kristeen Nelson Memorial Scholarship Fund, ArtsWestchester, and by individual donations.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your child’s enrollment for camp for any reason:

- Up to three weeks prior to the first day of camp: Full refund minus $35 registration fee.
- After three weeks prior to the first day of camp up to one week prior to the first day of camp: 50% refund.
- No refunds will be made less than seven days prior to the first day of camp.
